Well, I did it! I completed my first lace item!! Thanks to Miss STASIA who enabled and encouraged a group of us to do this - I am now the proud owner of "The Creatures of the Reef" shawl designed by DOROTHY at Fiddlesticks Knitting. I must tell you - this is one of the best written patterns I have ever laid eyes on. Fear not - if *I* can do lace - anyone can!! At the widest edge - this shawl measures approximately 84".
